Welcome Back
Dear Port Stanley Minor Hockey Families,

I hope this message finds you all in great health and high spirits. It's with immense excitement and anticipation that I welcome you all back to a new season of Port Stanley Minor Hockey!

As we say goodbye to summer, we're finally gearing up to hit the ice once again. It's a momentous occasion, one that we've all been eagerly waiting for. As we lace up our skates and step onto the rink, we're not just returning to the game we love but to a community that thrives on passion, teamwork, and camaraderie.

This season promises to be filled with thrilling moments, unforgettable memories, and incredible growth for our young athletes. As we embark on this journey together, let us remember the values that make our organization special – dedication, sportsmanship, and a commitment to fostering both personal and team success.  We will see the return of the Memorial Tournament in January for U9 & U11 and will also introduce a second tournament for U13 & U15 and will be held in November.

I want to extend my gratitude to all our dedicated Board members, coaches, volunteers, and parents who make this program possible. Your unwavering support and tireless efforts are the backbone of Port Stanley Minor Hockey, and without you, none of this would be possible.  With that said, we are always looking for additional help, If you would like to get involved please reach out to a board member.

To our players, welcome the challenges, learn from every experience, always give your best effort and never give up. This season is your opportunity to shine, to grow as individuals and as part of a team, and to make lifelong friendships along the way.

As we gather for practices, games, and events, let's prioritize safety and respect for one another. Let's be positive role models for our young athletes, showing them that, in addition to skill development, character building is at the core of what we do.

In closing, I want to wish each and every one of you a fantastic and successful season. Remember, In the game of hockey, every pass is a connection, every shot is an opportunity, and every moment is a chance to shine. Let's make this season one to remember!

Please watch our website schedule for your players' correct practice times.  Until teams are formed this will be by division and not team colour.  Please monitor our website schedule during the first two weeks as changes are possible while we work to maximize ice time and move toward team selections.  We thank you for your patience.

Go Sailors!

Sincerely,

Richard Lalonde
